Today I will introduce Xiao Liuqiu.😊

Xiao Liuqiu is a small island near Pingtung county and is known for its beautiful seascape. In this article, we separate into four parts to introduce this amazing island to you!



1.     Traffic

Firstly, you need to go to Pingtung train station by train or long-distance bus, then take the bus to Donggang dock. It may spend 45 to 60 minutes. Then, you need to rent a scooter or motorcycle as your transportation. You can also rent electric scoter if you don’t have the license.

 

2.     Water sports

There are a lot of different kinds of water sports, like banana boat, snorkeling, or others.

(1)  SUP, Stand Up Paddle Board

This was my first experience to have SUP. I am not good at any sports actually, so it really took me lots of time to stand on the board. 



Remember that don’t wear glasses when you’re having this activity. It may be broken or fall into the sea. It will be better to wear invisible glasses if you are nearsighted. On the other hand, although you cannot bring almost everything in this activity, the coach still takes lots of pictures of their costumes!

(2)  Scuba diving

You may waste some time training before scuba diving, and the coach will also ensure your healthy situation that made this trip safety. Don’t be afraid whether you have experienced or not because you will have your own coach and air tank for each person. You only need to enjoy the view under the sea and follow the rules from your coach. 


The most famous sea animals in Xiao Liuqiu is the turtle! You can see a lot of turtles under the sea close, but don’t touch them! In Taiwan, these turtles are protected animals. You will have a large fine (about760000INR ) to bother the nature life of turtles.

3.     Food

(1)  The most famous souvenir need to buy is a twisted roll and dried squid! By the way, the twisted roll is one of my favorite snacks. It has lots of flavors you can choose, like original, black sugar, condensed milk, coffee, pepper salt, dried seaweed, plum, sesame, and cheese. Among them, most of them are vegetarian food. However, the plum and black sugar are my suggestion!

(2)  Most of the tourism went to Xiao Liuqiu with friends or family members, so having a BBQ party with them may be a good idea! The restaurant I introduce to you is Chu an hsin. It is an all-you-can-eat outdoor BBQ. There have tens of ingredients that you can choose.

(3)  Fruit shaved ice

In this hot summer, eat a bowl of fruit shaved ice must be the most enjoyful thing after any water activity. The name of this shop is called ‘’Tian Tai Jiao’’. The fresh fruit with black sugar or passion fruit jam has a different flavor. The fantastic part of this ice is its numerous and sweet fruit. I think you only need to order a bowl (for two to three people) to share with your friends.

4.     Hotel

We live in ‘’eXtreme Homestay’’ during our trip. We order a double and a quad room. Both of them are clean and tidy, and also have shampoo, shower cream, toothpaste, bush, and so on. Besides, they have different decorations in these two rooms.









They can order some activities for you, like SUP, scuba diving, snorkeling, BBQ and so on. The thing that I introduce to you can order from this hotel! You also can have a little discount!

Taiwan is a historical country. We have a unique culture from indigenous people, colonizers, and modern Chinese. We are living in a high culturally diverse society, and it also influences our daily life from literature to diet.💗 Before the 16th century , Taiwan had only indigenous people , lived in a different area of Taiwan. They have their customs and languages💯. Until now, 16 ethnic groups in Taiwan have been rectified, but many ethnic groups have not been rectified by the government.
